DON’T FORGET TO DO CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISE

Walking is the best and easier great form of cardiovascular exercise that is effective in toning the thighs for those who are not interested in performing strength training exercise.
When starting a walking programme, start slowly and gradually work your way up. Start increasing the time by 10 minutes every time you find the walk feels easy. Remember to warm up before exercise and cool down after exercise incorporating basic stretches of the muscles used. Drink lots of water before and after to avoid cramping during these exercises, and to keep your body free of toxins that contributes to unsightly legs.

BRAIN HEALTH UNDER THE SCANNER

A number of mobile apps and neuro devices now target the brain’s ability to grow new connections when it responds to changes in its environments. Many medical companies are developing neural activity recording (EEG) devices for neurofeedback and sleep analysis. If  these apps and devices are clinically proven to have a position effect on a brain, imagine its health benefits for the individuals and society at large—more productivity, better life quality, fewer cases of depression, markedly less illegal drug abuse.

YOU CAN GET SEXIER THIGHS IN A MONTH

One of the fastest ways to lose unwanted weight and fat is to gain metabolism-raising muscles on your legs, say experts. Fitness professional Althea Shah, who is also a part of a gym chain, explains that muscles help burn more calories. She says, “To develop thighs, you’ll need to train quadriceps and the hamstrings.’’ You will be able to see definite results with regular exercise at least 2-3 times a week, along with consistent cardiovascular activities like brisk walking, jogging or swimming, state fitness professionals.
However, a balanced and healthy diet is also a must. You will not be able to sculpt your body without the ideal combination of right exercise, cardio and diet. Fitness professionals Althea and Mamtha Joshi, share some exercises that work your thighs.

 WIDE SQUAT

This exercise concentrates on your inner thigh muscles.
Stands with your feet a little wider apart than your shoulders and then bend till your knees at a 45-degree angle. Tighten your thighs and hold for 5seconds and stand back up. Keep your back straight for good posture (15-25times, 2-3 sets). A variation is the squats with a medicine ball. Put the ball on your thigh and be in the squat position. Do repetition of sets (20 into 3).

LUNGES

Both knees will need to be at about 90- degree angles at the bottom of the movement while doing this move, so adjust accordingly. Hold weights in each hand for added intensity if you wish. Start with your feet together. Step forward with your right leg, keeping your back straight, and bend your knees until your right knees forms a 90-degree angle. Hold this position for 5 counts; push back with your leg and return to start position. (15-25 lunges on each side, 2-3 sets).

WALKING LUNGES
It works your quadriceps, your hamstrings, and the thighs—start   by standing upright, then lunge forward with one leg, but don’t let your knee gofurther than your toe. Then when you get to the bottom of the lunge, use the back leg to get back to the standing position. For starters, it is best to do it without weights, but once you get the hang of it, it can be done with weights, for even better results.

HAMSTRINGS CURL

This exercise helps tone up your hamstrings.
Lie down on a yoga mat on your stomach; keep your legs and feet together at all times during this exercise. Strap an ankle weight on each leg(approximately 3-5 pounds each). Start by keeping your legs and feet on the ground, then bend your legs at the knees and bring them to your hips as close as possible. Hold for 10 seconds and then bring them back down, but do not let your feet or legs touch the ground. Repeat 10 times for each set and do three sets continuously every day.

OUTER AND INTER THIGH KICK STRETCH

Stand holding the back of a chair. Press your shoulder blades back and down. Come up onto the ball of your left foot and lift your right leg. Keeping your abs pulled in, bring your right leg across your body, in front of your left. Now, swing it back out to the right, keeping your toes turned out. Use momentum to swing through your leg as you fire through your left glutens. Do 10 reps. be sure to keep both hips facing forward.  Come onto the right leg and respect for 10 more reps, again making sure that your hips are facing forward.
